What is Haknuman Meanchey?

We are a small Asian food market owned by Cambodians that focuses on Southeast Asian produce and ingredients. The market was founded by a Cambodian couple Sohka Something and Boo Something in 199?. In November of 2003, the previous owners sold it to brother and sister duo Bunrith Pok and Mealy Khiev. In 2006, their youngest brother, Theana Pok, joined the team and became the third manager to this day. While Haknuman Meanchey specializes in carrying foods mainly within Southeast Asian cuisines, there is still a well-rounded selection of East Asian and Indian ingredients. The exotic produce selection is seasonally limited as they are very fresh when the semi-weekly truck delivers its rounds of fresh selections. We receive deliveries 3 days a week from International fresh foods distributors located in the Boston, Massachusetts areas. We also pick up foods in bulk for restaurants and events upon request. This market has been in the area for more than a decade and we consistently carry the most sought out Asian goods Portland has ever seen. Stop by and support our local business!
